Urgent position Only for GC/USC/EAD Location: Downtown NYC Rate: DOE Duration: Long Term Dot Net Dev with health exp: Senior .Net Developer – needed for assistance with our Mass Mailing Go Paperless Project. Since 2010, we have developed an in-house custom e-mail application which is able to process data received from our Enrollment department, segregate those members that opted to go paperless, send e-mails through our internal Microsoft Exchange server and write meta data back to our web portal via web service. The process also requires being able to manage the throttling of e-mails for large campaigns and processing the feedback we receive from ISPs such as hard bounces, unsubscribe requests, complaints, etc. The candidate will support and work in conjunction with our existing Senior .Net developer who created the program to manage and eventually automate the day-to-day functions of the sending of e-mails (i.e. throttling) and processing the feedback from the ISPs. They may be asked to do database SQL procedure coding as required. Position requires experience in .Net web based development and strong SQL background, preferably with some knowledge of mass mailing and/or marketing. Experience with Dreamweaver and/or Adobe Site Catalyst is a plus but not required for the position. Candidate must be capable of working with minimal supervision but also be a part of an existing team.
