Position: SSIS Architect (1)
Location: Franklin, TN
Length: 4-6 months w/option for
additional time
Start Date: ASAP
*Overview:*
Client is seeking an experienced SQL Server SSIS/SSRS Developer who will
work closely with a team of SSRS report writers, SSIS developers, data
modelers, data and business analysts to design and implement SSRS reports
and cube analytics. *Prefer to have someone with both SSRS and SSIS skills.*
* Focus is on SSIS skills as strongest skill.*
*Requirements:*
1. *Must have 5+ years designing and Architecting SSIS, SSRS reports
and ETL development inclusive of : *
a. Experience in database design, implementation, and performance
tuning
b. Work with business users to clarify report and ETL requirements.
c. Design, develop, implement, and validate reports and/or ETL
processes.
d. Create and execute unit test plans based on system and validation
requirements.
e. Experience with ETL process and technologies: SSIS
2. Must have SME w in SQL Server 2005-2008
3. Troubleshoot, optimize, and tune SQL processes.
4. Provide technical documentation per our clients methodology.
5. Maintain existing code and fix bugs whenever needed.
6. Collaborate with various functional business units to gather
reporting requirements.
7. Create ad-hoc and automated reporting solutions.
8. Knowledge of software development life cycle {SLDC}
9. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.
10. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective
communicator
11. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this
project.
