Sr. QA Testers,Automated (QTP) Needed Location:Ann Arbor,MI Locals only Duration:1 year project - Requirement : The Quality Assurance (QA) team is a dynamic and flexible group of testers. The team works on new development initiatives and platform enhancements for a research website searched by millions of users daily. This position requires solid experience with *QuickTestPro (QTP) and Visual Basic Scripting (VBS) or a similar tool/language.* Qualifications: · Minimum of 5 years experience in software testing; 3 years in web testing; 2 years developing automated test scripts in a professional software development environment. · Awareness of industry automation standards. · Experience developing automated test scripts using QTP (record and playback is not utilized) · Strong VB scripting skills. · Ability to work in an Agile development environment. · Experience testing with different browsers and operating systems. · Adept with browser add-ons for troubleshooting and investigation of issues. · Advanced skills in manual testing: writing, updating and executing tests. · Experience using defect tracking tools to log and report on defects. · Team player willing to work closely with QA staff. · Understanding of project management principles and practices. · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant field.
