Urgent Position: Location: NYC rate: DOE Duration: 1 year QA Manager Lead – should have good Fixed Income exp: Must have experience mentoring teams offshore(India) in addition to onshore. EXPERT AT FIXED INCOME This QA role calls for the candidate's experience to include testing e-trading applications and also experience with Automated testing as well. - Excellent Fixed Income knowledge, to BA level. This is the most important skill. - Good organization skills. Needs to manage and evaluate test cases, apply risk criteria against testing plans. - Good communication skills. Will be working closely with the BA's to help to define test cases and with the developers to report on results of testing. Position Purpose: The Expert Quality Assurance Lead-Manager is responsible for creating and implementing quality assurance programs. Ensures adequate product tests have been conducted by the Quality Assurance Analysts and oversee the end to end change control process to ensure that there are no defects present. Responsible for administering the required RBC problem management processes and providing problem status updates to ensure implementation timelines will be met. Provides recommendations to continuously improve quality assurance requirements with the QA programs, as well as recommendations on software acquisitions to improve information systems efficiency. The Expert Quality Assurance Lead will have accountability for managing large scale or enterprise wide project(s) along with QA team responsibilities. Key Accountabilities: - Work with Project Stakeholders and Developers to ensure that all aspects of the system have proper testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance and quality - Develop and nurture relationships with business partners - Comply with the system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodology (PMLC) by acting as an advisor in scope assessment, risk and cost analysis - Coach, lead and mentor other team members. Participate in knowledge transfer with the team and business units - Provide testing management / governance for ongoing projects and future initiatives - Deliver effective and efficient testing solutions by meeting key project milestones and overall project deliverables on time, and adhering to development and quality standards - Analyze the testing needs and lead / develop testing strategy and plans - Review and approve test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures such as database impacts, software scenarios or usability. - Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance or completeness and/or to mitigate risks - Ensure application documentation is complete and maintained/ updated in a timely fashion - Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems Knowledge and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant field - 12+ years' experience supporting technology projects - 12+ years leading quality assurance projects/programs - 9+ years of business systems experience - 9+ years' experience in systems testing Skills and Competencies - Strong knowledge of testing disciplines and methodologies - Strong documentation skills - Expert knowledge of computer hardware and software - Project management knowledge - People Management skills Attributes - Analytical thinker, detailed oriented - Interpersonal skills - Good problem solving skills - Ability to drive results and mentor and provide constructive feedback - Ability to work independently - Organized with good time management skills - Lead, coach and influence others for results and good performance Please provide me following details: Full Name: Email Id: Contact: Current Location: Relocation: Availability: Visa Status: F2F/ In-person interview: Expected Rate/Salary: Gender: -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
