*Location : McLean, VA* *Duration : 6 months Contract* *Statement:* • Responsible for orchestrating infrastructure environment builds. • Reviews engineering solutions and provides LOE (level of effort estimates) to build each environment. • Maintains and reviews the master build schedule with impacted service lines to identify resource constraints. • Identifies all tasks required for each environment and works closely with the service lines to ensure timely completion and with the project managers to ensure that expectations are being met. • Submits a master ticket and all associated tickets for each environment build, tracks all environment requests throughout the organization, resolve issues and concludes each environment for the assigned projects. • Facilitate build requirement discussions, identify risks, and establish timelines to meet business milestones. *Basic Requirements:* • A qualified candidate will have prior experience in building Windows/Unix servers, databases, middleware, storage and/or network. • Experience as a PM is desirable. • Need to identify opportunities for process improvements to the build process and assist with periodic management reporting. • Must be highly organized and be able to work closely with technical staff, project managers and upper management. • College Degree required and/or typically has 5-7 years related experience. • Prior systems administration and/or infrastructure experience essential to performing duties • This is NOT a configuration management position. • Proficiency with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office and Visio • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required *Preferred Skills:* • Experience with Sharepoint or Content Management/Collaboration Suite • Experience in Remedy or any ticketing system • ITIL certifications desired • Experience as PM desirable. • Scripting on Windows/Unix platform is a plus.
