Sure Shot Placement Face to Face is must after telephonic round !! * Job Tilte : Network Firewall Engineer Location : Baltimore , MD Duration : 6 Month Contract *Required Skills :* The Firewall Engineer MUST come for a face to face interview, . Both managers have been actively interviewing ( I had a confirmed start for the firewall position but the candidate ended up backing out) so I know these will move. Experience working with Trouble Ticket Tracking Systems such as Remedy is a plus, as is Unix, IBM Datapower, Cisco Security Manager, data center virtualization, site-site IPSEC tunnel configuration, and IPv6 experience. The scope of work is to ensure that Lockheed’s infrastructure is operated and maintained in a manner that protects hardware and software assets and mission information, and promotes the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and authentication, and privacy as defined in CMS’s security policies and standards. The subcontractor shall provide operational security services in support of the customer infrastructure. The subcontractor will be involved in firewall administration and support as well as one or more of the following areas: proxy server administration and support, VPN administration and support, RSA Two-Factor authentication administration and support, and/or other security services as required. The subcontractor may be asked to develop/deliver both written and verbal reports or technical assessments. The subcontractor will participate in security engineering and design projects and will be asked to provide security expertise in meetings and discussions. The subcontractor will be expected to participate in the weekly 24X7 on-call rotation. Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Career, or journey, level experience (i.e. firewall administration has been primary job function for at least 4 of the 9 years of experience) required in the following areas: demonstrated recent hands-on experience administering Checkpoint and Cisco PIX/ASA firewalls in a large network environment (preferably including multiple remote locations), managing a remote VPN access system utilizing multi-factor authentication (prefer Cisco Anyconnect/RSA), managing proxy servers/services (prefer Websense), troubleshooting network issues, assisting others with troubleshooting where applicable, developing and maintaining technical documentation, familiarity with NIST and FISMA regulations, working knowledge of variety of operating systems, databases, networks, and common security tools and/or troubleshooting utilities. A minimum of one Cisco certification (CCNA, CCSP, CCNP, CCIE, etc…) is required.
