*Skills : DATAPUMP, ASM & RAC.*
Following is the JD.
· Experience in installation, configuration and Database software
and patches.
· Experience in Oracle Database upgrade 9i, 10g and 11gR2.
· Experience in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL tuning and analyze database
performance issues and recommending solutions.
· Experience in 11gR2 RAC,ASM and Data guard.
· Experience in OEM grid control, partitioning and SQL loader.
· Backup and Recovery
· Database refresh using RMAN backup
· Good knowledge in Data pump(EXPDP/IMPDP) and Traditional
export/import
Requirement: 2
Oracle DBA Needed
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6+ months
The main skills are Exadata, Golden Gate and Performance Tuning.
Required skills:
Provide 24x7 support including on call weekend support.
· Planning and Implementation of Oracle Database Environment
· Apply the latest patches for Oracle database to fix bugs using
Opatch.
· Work on Database analysis, Capacity Planning and performance
issues, Oracle server installation and adding new patches.
· Work on data storage management, memory usage estimation for the
existing and future expansion requirements.
· Configure RMAN backups with Veritas Net backup
· Take backups on tapes by using RMAN.
· Proactive monitoring of database and file systems for growth of
tables, indexes and log files through OEM and Shell scripts.
· Analyzing database/SQL performance using Statspack, TKPROF, SQL
Trace and Explain plan utilities.
· Recovery of database in case of database crash, disk/media
failure, etc.
· Evaluate Hardware and Software Requirements and make
recommendations.
· Act in a leading role for performance analysis & tuning of oracle
servers, maintenance, space management, and upgrades and implement the
backup and recovery strategies.
· Work with development team during their release cycles.
· Golden Gate Replication configuration, addition of tables in
existing GG configuration.
· Configuration of Oracle streams
