Designs and develops backup, recovery, archiving and conversion strategies. Utilizes logical model to ensure efficient and reliable database performance. Manages and maintains data in all production and non-production databases. Adheres to administrative policies and procedures, priorities and methodologies. Performs backup and restoration of data. Performs installation and upgrade of database software. Significant creativity is required. Ability to work in a team environment and good communication skills. TOP THREE SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS: 1. Five years of experience supporting the DB2 on both distributed and mainframe platforms 2. Five years of experience in SQL and PL/SQL coding 3. Experience with DB2 Database Utilities REQUIREMENTS: 1.
