Position will focus on solution delivery while maintaining the benefits of flexibility and abstraction to change found in good data modeling disciplines. The solutions created will support both enterprise level databases (ODS, DW) as well as application specific databases (CRM, Supply chain, Star Schema data marts). Creates Extraction and Transformation Layer (ETL) operability (data specifications that are in tune with the way users will access the data and the types of reports and queries they will run. Identifies and designs facts and dimensions as appropriate to the defined user requirements *Skills Required:* Data Warehouse Data Architect: Responsibilities also include: ·Work closely with Business Requirements Analyst to understand and document business needs for decision support data information repository needs ·Work across the TIS areas to ensure the Semantic Component is manageable, extensible and supportable. ·Provide oversight and guidance in the design the data warehouse Dimensional/Business Logical Data Model, including the definition of conformed metrics and dimensions as well as the build out of the Data Warehouse Bus Matrix ·Oversight of the physical data base design across all the Information Repositories ·Resolve subsequent issues and make modifications to ensure ongoing correlation between data models and physical data base structure The dimensional/business data model serves as the blueprint for organizing the structure and content of data across our information repositories. Specific data warehouse modeling skills and decision support-related experience of the Data Warehouse Data Architect will ensure a greater chance for success of the project, due to the unique data and structural requirements of a data warehouse and the corresponding views needed to support end user access.
