*1)** Support Engineer – jersey City, NJ* *Start: ASAP* *Type: Contract * Responsibilities: - Project lead for Platform Support team, providing environment support for testing and pre-production - Serves as a liaison between onsite & offshore support teams to ensure smooth handoff and timely delivery of builds/releases - Identify and Resolve Production & platform environment Issues - Preparing and configuring Test environments - Provide support and technical assistance for Test activities - Open up calls and resolve issues on environments, builds and releases collaborating with offshore team - Review and maintain support run-books - Provide knowledge transfer and training to the offshore team as required - Troubleshoot, identify root cause and resolve complex problems - Understand the requirements and design for assigned components - Ensure correct development set up and usage of appropriate tools by the team as defined by the project environment - Confirm proper configuration management set up and adhere to the same - Accurately report time, status and metrics related to tasks assigned to the support team to client managers Qualifications: - Associates degree required in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
