Previous Siemens experience preferred Expert functional business process and SAP technical knowledge in the areas planning, scheduling, MRP, product execution, variant configuration and advanced planning and optimization, interfacing with other modules, and third party MES softwares e.g. DMM (this is critical) --2) Extensive experience in a discrete manufacturing make-to-order controlled environment that is product engineering-intensive (MTO+E), shop floor interfaces, APO - GATP, and modification processes. --3) Hands-on experience necessary in customizing material movement transactions (RF based preferably), special stock handling / hazardous material management setup, stock transfer orders, special SAP module for serialization, interfacing to manufacturing execution system, barcoding solution and productivity monitoring is necessary. Experience in interfaces with third party manufacturing software's like DMM, ProE, product modification with shop floor work list, user exits, ABAP performance / fine tuning is essential.. --4) Expert functional business process and SAP technical knowledge and support of interfaces. --5) Demonstrated experience in using Q1 KPI reporting, Pareto analysis and root cause problem solving. The Application Expert (AE) provides business and procedural system knowledge in the area of SAP planning, scheduling, MRP, product execution, variant configuration and advanced planning and optimization. The AE is responsible for requirements gathering, solutioning, system configuration, testing, training, documentation and any tasks for the applications and interfaces managed by the team the that arise within an application project implementation or change request management or issue and problem management processes. Experience in discrete manufacturing controlled environment, hands on experience in dealing with production execution make to stock, make to order and make to order+engineering environments is necessary. AE provides expert knowledge and experience in the design and support of interfaces that that link SAP with third party software with special emphasis in the areas of manufacturing execution and order engineering. He/She has demonstrated experience to work across SAP module boundaries and integrate SAP with SD, MM, Service, Solution and FICO modules, processes standardization and harmonization is a must. The Application Expert provides software and application solution expertise and related consulting according to resp. modules / products and legacy systems (as required).
