*Immediate need a SharePoint with Data Migration - MI (Sure Placement) * *Job Title : SharePoint with Data Migration Location : Ann Arbor, MI. Duration : 6+ Months contract Rate : $50/hour on C2C* *Required Skills: ECM certification (CDIA+) a plus. Experience leading requirements gathering sessions for deploying ECM solutions, performing legacy migrations to SharePoint a plus. Familiarity with Xybion Pathbuilder or other migration tools a plus. Familiarity with SharePoint document library operations and practices, particularly technical services and library systems administration. Experience designing, deploying and performing custom development in SharePoint environments a plus Knowledge of current metadata standards, including RDA, Dublin Core, EAD, DACS, MARCXML, MODS, METS, TEI, and other emerging data standards. High comfort level with Linux, JAVA, scripting, SQL, PHP, XSL and .NET programming. The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Strong customer service focus. Ability to work well in a team environment with minimum direction.* *Document Migration project * *Needs to have hands on experience with ETL, and Document Management Systems (i.e. SharePoint, File.Net, Documentum, etc.) Project is to take already existing documents from their multiple different legacy document systems and migrate them into SharePoint 2010* *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: **Perform analysis of legacy data, data models, and advise team members on the best way to migrate and manipulate the data. Creation and documentation of scripts to facilitate the extraction, transformation and loading of legacy data. Perform data extracts, data translation, and data cleanup as part of larger projects to implement a new SharePoint repository. Perform special data change and data cleanup projects. Work with data owners to verify the accuracy of all migrated data.
