Our client, a large system integrator is working with a New York State (NYS) agency implementing an Electronic Health Records (EHR) system and is in need of a Tester for this very visible project in Albany NY. Kickoff is slated for the early to mid October 2013 timeline. The initial contract is 4- months with possible extension. You will be a critical component of the development team, working with and testing the software prior to pilot release. *The ideal candidate must possess:* • Extensive testing experience including interface testing; • Background in writing test plans, test cases, test scripts; • Experience with data conversions; • Experience with HP products; Rational RequisitePro, a plus; • Healthcare domain experience, a plus; • EMR (Electronic Medical Records), EHR (Electronic Health Records), or VistA (Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture) experience, a plus; • Experience with public sector, including NYS (New York State), or H&HS (Health and Human Services, or H&HS, or HHS), a plus.
