We have a direct Client requirement for you and the details are as follows *Job Title :* *WLAN/Bluetooth Test Engineer* *Location* *: Santa Clara, CA* *Type : Permanent / Full Time Position*** * * *Job Description**:* Candidate will provide Systems Test engineering support for WLAN, BT and LTE features and other data communications systems. You will work in a System Test team environment with significant interaction with ASIC designer, RF circuits and hardware designer, System Engineers, and Software engineers. Will need to work with automation engineer, provide requirements for end to end automation, and make sure the automation platform is very stable. Will be responsible for testing and verifying physical layer requirements for complex digital modem ASIC products supporting 802.11 technology. Additional job duties include studying new system level features and working closely with HW, SW & automation, and System engineers to come up with comprehensive test strategies to evaluate them. Will conduct engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research work. Should have strong Communication Theory background, Digital modulation and Spread Spectrum technology in particular. Knowledge of WLAN standard series and hands-on experience with standard telecommunications. *Skills/Experience * · 3-5 years’ experience in Data networking Systems Test area · Working experience in L2/L3 performance testing · Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, and other L2, L3 protocols. · Hands on experience of using test tools: IxChariot, iperf, IXIA · Experience in protocol and performance aspects of Wireless Connectivity such as WLAN, Bluetooth, Low Energy (LE) Experience with WFA test certification testing · Test experience in OFDM, MIMO, Digital/Wireless Communication Systems and RF engineering · Working experience in automation scripting with perl is preferred. · Must be flexible to take on any task assigned. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Strong team spirit and flexible attitude.
