Qualifications Server provisioning on Linux environment Linux and Solaris server patching ( Monthly basis patches released on Linux side they follow that cycle) Add space to file systems (VERITAS knowledge is essential) Knowledge of ACL’s opening between servers , How two fold work done to open the ACL (First at NOC level and then at server level) What is Host Based Firewall. Knowledge of LDAP to manage the server login’s Knowledge of backup software’s like Legato. Knowledge of monitoring tool ITO ( IBM Tivoli product) is added advantage.
