Role: *Cognos Developer* Location: NYC, NY Duration: 6+months *Responsibilities* • Coordinate with the various business stakeholders (i.e. Operational Risk Management, Compliance, SOX\MAR Compliance, IT Risk Management, etc.) to determine reporting and system requirements. • Develop complex reports (dashboards, drill-through reports, crosstabs, etc) for the OpenPages GRC application using Cognos ReportNet and Cognos 8. • Develop \ implement changes to the IBM OpenPages GRC application. • Assist with the general support and maintenance of the application, and help users resolve application and reporting issues. • Coordinate with the vendor (IBM) to design and troubleshoot custom application components and utilities. • Lead off-shore developers with the implementation of system enhancements. • Assist with the QA and UAT review of system changes. *Qualifications* • Expertise in writing complex Cognos ReportNet and Cognos 8 reports a must (experience in writing reports for the OpenPages GRC application a plus). • Experience with technologies used in web application development like web servers (IIS, WebLogic), client-side scripting (HTML, JavaScript\AJAX), server-side programming (JSP), markup (XML), and DBMSs (Oracle 11g, SQL, PL\SQL). • Experience working in an AGILE environment with very little documentation. • Motivation to work closely with business and end users to achieve business goals. • Strong Microsoft Excel \ data analysis skills a must.
