Tool Administrator** Location: McLean, VA Duration: 4+ Months (Possible Extension) Description: Work as a backup tool administrator for BMC Blade logic . The tool administrator plans, coordinates and implements the product upgrades and maintenance, troubleshoot system related problems, and will be responsible for the overall availability of the tools infrastructure and the environment. Other responsibilities include maintaining the tools roadmaps, presenting technical briefing to the support staff, developers and the management. Duties: • Coordinate/perform installation and configuration in DR environment. • Maintain configuration data, user access and control within applications. • Perform minor customization and develop interfaces if required to bring up DR. • Conduct annual BCP exercises. Assist with capacity and disaster recovery planning and execution. • Work closely with Unix/NT/DB administrators for setting up replications for these tools. • Maintain Service level agreements for DR Skills/Experiences: • 3+ years working with BMC Bladelogic, 3+ years working with Unix/Linux servers • 2+ years of scripting (Shell, Perl and/or Powershell) • 6+ years of progressive IT experience -- *Thanks,* *Naresh Kumar .
