These products include, but are not limited to, Acrobat Standard and Professional, Captivate, Presenter, Design and Web Premium Suite, Creative Cloud Enterprise, Contribute and Presenter. · Education: Bachelor's degree in a computer-sciences related field, or equivalent years of experience is required. · Equivalent years of experience are determined as one year of technical experience for every year of college requested. · Seven (7) or more years’ experience as a Citrix Systems Engineer. · Extensive experience in the analysis and design of enterprise systems, as well as in troubleshooting and providing technical support for these systems. · Appropriate technical certifications are a plus. · Excellent oral and written communication skills. · Proven ability to direct enterprise-scale technical projects. *Responsibilities:* · Serves as top-level technical expert in the analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of all assigned systems, responsible for their overall security, integrity and reliability. · Oversees the implementation of system upgrades and modifications, including planning, testing, scheduling and coordination. Ensures that change management and defined security procedures for all assigned systems are executed in accordance with I/S policies and procedures. · Minimizes service interruptions through early identification and resolution of problems. Analyzes monitoring and maintenance data and implements changes as required to achieve optimum performance. Makes recommendations for resources required to maintain and/or expand service levels. · Develops, maintains, and oversees a schedule of system backups and test restorations. Ensures that the business recovery plan for assigned systems adequately addresses client’s requirements and established time frames. · Oversees all support and problem management activities, provides tier-three support and guides less experienced staff in problem resolution. Reviews and analyzes problem-management data, in aggregate, to identify issues and trends directly affecting the quality of services. · Drives the development, implementation, and maintenance of all policies, procedures, and standards pertaining to assigned services and systems, ensuring their conformance with industry-defined best practices. Oversees the maintenance of all operating records, and coordinates the production of assigned systems and services management reports, ensuring the accuracy of the data and the relevance of report metrics. · Provides general oversight of all projects pertaining to assigned systems. May serve in the role of project lead, assuming responsibility for oversight of most or all aspects of a project. Undertakes research and/or evaluation projects as assigned, providing formal documentation of findings and conclusions according to established department standards. · May function in the role of core team lead, with duties of instructing, directing, and checking the work of team members. *Position 2: IT Infrastructure Engineer * *No. of Openings: 2-4* *Location: Chattanooga, TN* *Duration: 6+ Months Contract* *Job Details:* · Need 2-4 really talented Citrix XenApp 5/6.5 administrators. Must have extensive Citrix XenApp 5 and 6.5 administration, application troubleshooting and publishing background. · VMWare ThinApp or Microsoft App-V experience is a plus. The windows 7 project has a lot of applications that need to be tested and installed on Windows 7. · Need Citrix XenApp expertise to help us test and deploy applications in the XenApp environment. *Description:* · Performs engineering work to provide it client systems at all TVA facilities to support TVA’s administrative and business computing needs. · Engineers software testing and deployments to install, update versions and reduce vulnerabilities for cots software engineers, maintains and support its lab environment and POC engagements engineers and maintains standards for golden operating systems images for client and server platforms analyzes emergent it client systems requirements, validates user requirements, selects the appropriate solution and determines the optimum method to deploy the solution. · Provides documentation to accurately reflect the work as engineered. Documentation may include system specifications, engineering drawings, project schedules, financial reports, and progress reports. · May serve as a project engineer for assigned projects of moderate scope or parts of major projects and as such, duties include leading the project team, establishing and accomplishing valid requirements, monitoring all phases of project performance, approving project changes within approved limits, and conducting lessons learned reviews at project completion. · Ensures that engineering and design tasks meet costs and schedule. Serves as the subject matter expert in one or more it client systems technologies such as operating systems, software deployment packaging techniques, performance engineering, etc. · Develops standards and guidelines to promote sound engineering, operations, and maintenance practices. · Performs studies to evaluate the effects of modifications, changes of operating parameters, and changes in system requirements on existing it client systems and develops solutions to improve performance.
