Send me profiles : [email protected] *Role : Business Objects Administrator* *Location : Brooklyn NY* *Duration : 6+months * *Experience : 8+yrs* Job Description ; Business Objects Administrator: 1. * Strong Experience in Business Objects XI 3.1 administration and architecture (on Unix and Weblogic platform)* 2. Knowledge of Unix, Weblogic. 3. *Good knowledge and extensively worked on Central Management Console (CMC), Life Cycle Manager(LCM ), Import wizard, Infoview* . 4. Should have support knowledge of client tools WEB Intelligence, designer and Xcelcius. 5. Security Management - a. Design and implement security by creating of user groups, granting access to users and adding security restrictions (application level, folder level and report level) based on user role and user groups. b. Have Knowledge of configuring and integration of third party authentication types like LDAP . 6. Should have good knowledge of -Portal integration process , integration of Infoview with Java application. 7. Responsible for backup ,recovery of universe ,reports . 8. *Experience of server installation/upgrading of BO XI 3.1 and higher. * 9. Performance management and capacity planning (reviews performance statistics, sets thresholds) 10. Able to resolve report problems because of up gradation, installation of any patches. 11. Knowledge of scheduling of reports. 12. Good knowledge of best practices for administrative activities. 13. Good to have knowledge of migration of BO 3.1 to 4.
