*Location : Plano , TX*

*Job description :*



The primary function of this role to provide single point of contact
coordination across many teams for the tasks listed below. This role will
manage only 1 person, the Store QA Lab Admin. This role will require good
communication skills, good organizational skills, and good process
management skills. This person should be familiar with scheduling and
tracking tools such as Sharepoint, Remedy, and Quickbase. This person
should be comfortable with a dynamic fast paced environment. This person
must be available for a minimum time commitment of 2 years.



Sample tasks include:



*Store QA Lab Manager - *

1.       Manage ALL Store pod environments (dev, QA, SLC, Store Operations,
DP, etc)

2.       Single point of contact for lab equipment requests (requests
fulfilled by ITFO lab manager)

3.       Assign pods based on equipment and other requirements

4.       Resolve equipment failures identified in testing

5.       Track Pod usage and schedules

6.       Coordinate Hardware Repairs

7.       Manage all equipment moving into or out of the lab

8.       Maintain POD Quickbase; Owner, user, project

9.       Coordinate Network equipment and configuration changes with NE

10.   Track wireless devices

11.   Provide secure charging and storage locations for wireless devices

12.   Maintain and approve lab access requests

13.   Assign space and location for pods and equipment



The Stores QA Admin requires a person with meaningful windows lab
management experience. The roles will be 50% hardware admin and 50%
software admin. There is an additional requirement for this person to be
available for a minimum time commitment of 2 years.



*Store QA Lab Administrator - *

1.       First line QA technical support

2.       Problem determination Triage

3.       Coordinate Pod Rebuilds and post build activities with Store QA
and SE

4.       Install and move equipment

5.       Update pod equipment Quickbase as required

6.       Support hardware repair process

7.       Pod Monitoring

8.       Pod specific data loads

9.       Maintain periodic pod DB backups

10.   Coordinate Pod maintenance with EE

11.   Certify pod is ready for QA

Senior Technical FTE with 10 + yrs experience on store server refresh
Projects

Technical skills to include:

·         Windows Server 2008

·         PowerShell scripting to automate the post-install checks

·         Virtualization of Windows Environment

·         Experience with rollout of a project in a retail-Stores
environment

·         This work will require coordination with an offshore team and
frequent work in evening / night hours.
