*Job Description*:
The Senior Application Developer supports business process through
technology solutions. The purpose of the role is to develop business
software solutions for complex and large scale projects through object and
data modelling, database design, programming, quality assurance, and
implementation support. The Senior Application Developer participates in
application standards development and serves as an evangelist for best
practices in development.
Experience with *Sterling Integrator.*
Experience with *ANSI X12/EDI.*
Experience in *EDI* implementation practices, data flows of electronic
documents and development of business processes, use of industry standard
formats such as EDI, XML, cXML messages, EDI translation and mapping
software, and communication protocols along with standard encryption
methods.
Experience with enterprise-wide web deployment of electronic business
documents, integration tools and applications, communication and encryption
technologies, EDI testing and QA techniques.
2+ years experience designing data integration systems.
Strong Analytical and Problem Solving abilities.
Strong Experience with programming languages *(Java, EJB, JSP, JavaScript,
HTML).*
AS400 / I series Knowledge.
Experience with system analysis, design, and development using structured
and object oriented techniques.
Knowledge of the retail industry.
