Job Title: Project Mgr for IT Security
Location: Columbia, SC
Duration: 6+ months

*Job Description*:
This project management assistance would include, but is not limited to:
- Assisting with project planning, project execution, and project
management
- Monitoring project progress/status (scope/risk management, schedule,
budget, quality)
- Reviewing for Integrator / Vendor project planning documents and
associated deliverables
- Performing quality review of draft deliverables (in-progress and
final) and providing comments for improvements where necessary
- Ensuring the transfer of functional and system implementation and
operations knowledge from the Integrator / Vendor to DSIT
Multiple IT Security Projects;
Manage Multiple IT Projects
Preferred PMI Certification = PMP or CAPM
The Infosec elements to be implemented include:
Laptop whole disk encryption, two-factor authentication for VPN, security
information and event management, data discovery and classification,
desktop patch management and privileged user management.
Managing multiple, parallel Infosec efforts will require a well-defined
program and governance approach for the Project Definition, Design,
Implementation, Configuration, Testing, Pilot, Training, Operational
Readiness, and Communication phases to ensure not only the success of each
initiative, but that also separate initiatives do not conflict or break
other Infosec and non-Infosec initiatives.
