Job Title: *Identity Management Support and Maintenance*
Location: Chapel Hill, NC
Duration: 5+ months
*Job Description**:*
This is a technical position which is responsible for development and
maintenance of specialized Identity Management tools and web applications
for the client . The person will provide the following services:
· Provide support for production IDM environment
· Work on maintenance activities as assigned
· Providing effort estimates for development team work.
· Delivering effective solutions on time, within budget and in
adherence to development and quality standards.
· Complying with the system development life cycle (SDLC).
· Completing the development process including development of
technical specifications and modification documentation.
· Facilitating appropriate knowledge transfer within the team and
business offices.
· Coaching, leading, and mentoring other team members where asked.
· The contractor is expected to work a 40 hour week Monday through
Friday (8 Hours per day) or Monday through Thursday (10 hours per day).
Local candidates should expect to work Monday through Friday.
Web application and back-end development experience with Java is required.
Proven customer service skills are required. Preferred candidate will have
a high degree of technical skill and a broad understanding of web
programming concepts. Preferred candidate will have a BS degree in Computer
Science or related field or equivalent experience. Experience with JDBC,
JNDI, Hibernate/JPA, JSF, GWT, Groovy/Grails and various web frameworks is
highly desired.
Familiarity with protocols such as XML, WSDL, SAML and SPML is highly
desired. Experience with Shibboleth Single Sign-On, particularly Identity
Provider administration is highly desired. Experience with Kerberos and
LDAP administration is highly desired. Ideal consultant will be highly
motivated with the ability to work with a variety of technical environments
and tools. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communications skills
are key, as this person is expected to convey technical information to
clients and promote understanding of Identity Management issues.
