Position: *Ruby on Rails Developer* Duration: 6 month plus contract Location: Phoenix, AZ *Position Description* The Sr. Ruby Software Developer’s role is to help plan, design, develop and deploy software applications. This individual will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help develop and implement systems/software to maximize the benefit of IT investments and initiatives. *Position Responsibilities* • Familiarity with Agile development and delivery methodologies • Design and Develop software system to meet user requirements. • Design, Develop and Maintain software development framework to be used by development and test teams • Good understanding of database architecture concepts around best practices, standards, and industry trends • Help with technical vision throughout software development, direction and ultimately successful implementation • Assist in defining and designing the domain and data models for solutions • Solution estimation, risk identification and dependency analysis • Knowledge in performance, scalability of enterprise system architecture. • Generates technical documentation as well as unit and functional tests. • Conduct Design/code reviews, code management, documentation, testing and support. *Position Requirements* • Experience with Ruby gem integration into existing projects • Experience with Ruby gems for report builders, form builders, dynamic queries • Technically fluent and demonstrable experience in programming languages including but not limited to Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery and scripting technologies • Technically fluent in databases including but not limited to MySQL. • 5+ years direct experience as a Software Developer for major application product development and release. • Excellent coding and debugging skills with an attention to detail and Agile Scrum development practices • Object Oriented Programming and Software Engineering experience. • Experience in designing and implementing advanced database architecture • Experience writing advanced SQL queries • Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Windows, OSX and Linux. • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language. • Highly self-motivated and directed. *Nice to Have’s* • Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to Agile work structures. • Working knowledge and experience with design patterns. • Technically fluent in databases including but not limited to Mongo DB. • Have a good knowledge of technical applications and be willing to keep up to ate • Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives. • GitHub account with code, samples appreciated. *Please reply to [email protected] <[email protected]>* Thanks & Best Regards, *HABEEB* | Technical Recruiter *AddOn Technologies, Inc* Phone: 734-956-4737 Ext: 160 Email: *[email protected] <[email protected]>* Gtalk: *habeeb.ithr* Url: *www.addonusa.com <http://www.addonusa.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
