Title: Java Middleware Engineer Duration: 6 Months+ Location: Columbus, OH Must Haves: Java Middleware Administration 5 years: Linux, Oracle EBS Description Of Work: The Java Middleware Engineer will assist in the design, implementation, delivery and support of Java-based applications for Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Oracle’s ERP technology and Hybris solution to ensure the availability of services and products to the company’s customers. General Responsibilities: • Provide Service & Infrastructure Operations support to internal and external customers in accordance with the terms of the established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). • Carry out incident and problem management support to the highest standards and co-ordinate the resolution with the appropriate resolver groups. • Proactively detect problems related to service and infrastructure operations and delivery services, conduct diagnostics and provide service request ownership to ensure resolution of customer problems. • Report and escalate all observed problems to proper client operational escalation points. • Ensure the Middleware Operations team adheres to the highest working standards for all incidents and problems by providing guidance and support. • Hands-on Design, Build, deployment and support all different components of Oracle Fusion Middleware ( SOA, OSB, BPM, ADF applications, including the WebLogic App server and related Oracle Database). • Design and build highly scalable and available Web Services backbone for the organization. • Performance test planning & execution and tuning of Fusion Middleware products, including WebLogic, SOA, and Coherence. • Hands-on admin and configuration for multiple WebLogic domains supporting full SDLC for several projects. • Implement monitoring tools and techniques for Fusion Middleware components, particularly SOA and OSB services. • Support multiple integration projects in the middleware space, troubleshooting middle-tier issues and assisting developers on infrastructure related issues. • Hands-on Installation of new middleware software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve middleware software related problems. • Perform tests on hardware and software components and be responsible for the co-ordination of acceptance testing with customers and third parties. • Perform change management, configurations, design and implementation of the supported products and systems. • Conduct the analysis, definition, documentation and testing of application and system enhancements. • Provide on-site support to users during the cutover of services, as needed. • Familiar with creating and consuming web services (SOA, WSDL, AXIS, SOAP -- *Thanks,* *Naresh Kumar .
