*Responsibilities:* Gathers data for analysis purposes using complex data mining instructions/ scenarios. Designs and develops SQL queries for extracting information, trends, insights and metrics from data stored in the database. Well versed in using relational database management systems, specifically SQL Server. Utilizes Trillium data profiling tool for analysis purposes and configures tool for specific data needs. Defines and writes functional specification in support of the data quality requirements. Perform Data Analysis/Data Profiling on key Master Data entities in order to report and plan data remediation and data cleanup activities Create metrics and reports (ad-hoc and repetitive) to support data management, data quality and Data Governance programs *Required Skills:* 2-5 yrs + of experience using Trillium Software for analyzing large datasets. 2-5 yrs + of demonstrated experience related to Data Analysis (gathering data Rules and Requirements, performing data analysis on a data warehouse and/or source systems, and implementation experience in a large-scale, multi-user environment, work with functional specs, use cases, test cases, test plans) working with users to tweak patterns and multi table complex rules Self-motivated, team player Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Detailed knowledge of Data Modeling, both relational and dimensional Familiarity with ETL protocols Strong analytical and data management skills Extensive experience with SQL Adept in MS Excel and report building tools Exposure to Data Profiling and Data Warehousing Best Practices Experience with developing entity and attribute business rules within the Trillium toolset. Experience in data mining techniques, procedures and best practices. Works with Data Owners and Data Analyst to understand the data for purposes of technical data analysis and to understand the query related requirements.
