Send me profiles : [email protected] *( LOCAL to VA)* *Role : Windows Systems Engineer * *Location: Reston, VA* *Duration: 6+months * *Exp : 7+yrs * *Job Description* *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES* - Engineer, architect and deploy solutions in support of development efforts. - Provides technical leadership in primary areas of competence, and task management and project leadership support. - Develops increasing expertise in key technologies, focusing on three-tiered, web- based solutions. - Develops experience and expertise in problem definition, requirements analysis and the general design and integration of systems. - Develops an increasing appreciation for technologies and architectures, including; enterprise architecture strategies and deployment best practices, architecture and component performance testing, hosting strategies and infrastructure architectures, and RUP. - Provide / assists with, project management and project leadership. - Provide technical support to third parties regarding the use, understanding, design, and implementation of College Board products, providing end user and on-site support when required. - Supervise / manage technical resources. - Represents The College Board and its products in public forums, inter-company meetings, and industry conferences. *Skills:* - 6 or more years of progressively responsible experience within IT infrastructure operations required - Strong understanding of System design and integration with a thorough familiarity with three-tiered web architecture - Strong knowledge with *VM architecture* - *Knowledge of Linux * - Knowledge of Flux scheduler application - Ability to participate in the on-call process, readiness to work off hours in known peak situations - *Strong knowledge of security and PCI compliance* - Strong customer service orientation - Strong problem solving and analytic skills - Ability to travel when required. - Comprehensive understanding of server operating systems such as Linux, UNIX, and Windows - Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field - *Certification in Linux, UNIX, or Microsoft operating systems (Preferred)* *Thanks & Regards* *ARJUN * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
