DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES* The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of one Project Manager, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general qualifications of ITSAC Project Manager 2 Category Core Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV). All work products resulting from the project shall be considered “works made for hire” and are the property of the TxDMV. TxDMV may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. TXDMV will pay no fees for criminal background checks, interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s). The Worker will report to the Director of GSC and work closely with agency executive management to understand and advocate agency views. The individual will work collaboratively with the EPMO, individual Project Managers, and Business Subject Matter Experts to develop and implement effective strategies and processes to enable the successful implementation of automation project solutions. These strategies and processes should maximize benefits and lower risks for all stakeholders. This individual will lead State team efforts to monitor customer relations, and support deployment-planning initiatives, including the assessment of organizational change readiness, and user impacts, and delivery of communication and training. Special Requirements: 10% Travel will be required for this position. *Minimum Requirements:* Years Skills/Experience 8 Extensive experience working with strategic objectives and how they align with the execution of the mission and vision of an organization. Experience collaborating across all levels of organization hierarchy and working with executive level management 8 Experience in business transformation, change management (tools, techniques, methods), communication, and stakeholder management. 8 Extensive experience in external stakeholder management, including presentations and communications with executive level clients. 8 Supporting projects’ viability and defensibility from an agency perspective, this role is responsible for overseeing project delivery from the user perspective. 4 Extensive understanding of business transformation principles – people, process, and technology - backed by extensive knowledge of IT-enabled change and benefits delivery. 4 Establishing organizational change management work plans, with focus on communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement. 4 Experience in project/program management delivery *Preferences:* Years Skills/Experience 4 Working with web-based communications vehicles, experience with social networking communications a plus. 4 Extensive experience in change and program management, and business process reengineering services with clients such as the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. 4 Self-motivated and outstanding interpersonal communication skills with extensive experience in automation project related tasks.
