The Backup Administrator actively supports the production database environments and ever increasing multi-fold enterprise data volumes. Specific responsibilities would include: 1. Maintaining and expanding the existing Backup strategy and infrastructure 2. Working directly with colleagues to maintain and evolve the Disaster Recovery Planning, Testing and Response for the Enterprise 3. Leveraging the Backup Infrastructure for Operational efficiency, including data staging, recovery and hardware migration 4. Collaborate with other team members on IT/Operations initiatives, including data center, network administration, backup and disaster recovery efforts and strategies 5. Participating in an on-call production technology support rotation 6.
