*Position Title* : Senior Java Programmer with Digital Asset Management.

*Position Type* : Contract

*Duration* : 3 – 6 months

*Location/City*:  Glendale, CA





*Requirements/Qualifications: *

·Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or similar degree

·8+ years in java web development with at least 3 years of experience with
large scale and complex systems

·Experience with multi-tiered architectures, including UI design, business
rules layer, and data architecture

·Experience creating technical documentation & system designs.

·Experience with common software development methodologies like waterfall,
agile, etc.

·Experience with DAM (Digital Asset Management) systems like Documentum,
Media Beacon, or Artesia

·Experience with FAST ESP Search or Lucene search engines is desirable

·3+ years of Technical Project Management experience on small to moderate
complex level projects is desirable

·Proven track record on his/her Business Acumen.





*Tools – Demonstrated proficiency in the below will be highly regarded:*



   - Databases : Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase
   - Web application Servers : IBM WebSphere, JBoss
   - Java Frameworks & Technologies : Spring 3.x, ReST, Hibernate, Web
   Services, Java 5 & Annotations
   - IDE’s : Eclipse, Rational Application Developer, or similar
   - Build : Ant, Maven, SVN, Cruise Control, Jenkins
   - OS : Windows, MAC, UNIX (multi-flavor)
   - Web Browsers : Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox
