Base knowledge of Sales Orders.
Sales Order related Delivery Processing.
Stock Transport Order Delivery Processing.
Inventory Management Processing to include Goods Receipt, Material
Status Change, Material Movements, Physical Inventory, Etc.
Availability Checking.
Warehousing Operations.
Warehouse related output to include Bill of Lading, Pick List, Idoc
output, Etc.
Idoc Processing and Reprocessing.
Communicating and testing with 3rd Party Warehouse provider and their
Warehouse Management system.
Translating functional requirements into technical specs.
ABAP Debugging and Code analysis a plus
Required Experience
Implementation experience
Detailed configuration knowledge
Detailed master data knowledge
Ability to work independently with minimal direction
Ability to lead business discussions and testing
Background
The new manufacturing plant, located in South Carolina, will produce
Personal care products, replacing Morristown NJ. Some of the complexities
include Vertical Integration, and many batch processes - with continuous
batch processing. The result of this is many mobile containers that will
require batch and container tracking. This process will need to integrate
completely with Production Orders and Quality Management. The
manufacturing plant will also require a supporting customer and
replenishment warehouse. Phased Go Live starting November 2014 thru end 2015
Project scope (general)
The goal is to implement the global manufacturing plant SAP bundle and
supporting warehousing process. This includes the following
modules/processes
SNP for replenishment planning, Purchasing of Maintenance, Repair,
Operating, Raw and Pack materials; Production Orders and confirmation; XMii
/ Plant Floor Integration
Handling Unit Management and Warehouse Management for Raw, Pack and
Finished Goods materials, Receiving, Transfer, and Issuing; Quality
Management for Raw, Pack and Finished Goods materials; Batch Management for
Raw, Pack and Finished Goods materials
Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) / Plant Maintenance; Shipping of
Finished Goods to Distribution Centers
Shipping of Finished Goods to Customers and Forward Distribution
Centers; R/F scanning capability for Raw, Pack and Finished Goods;
Inventory Management (select items, including MRO and materials stored in
tanks or silos), Receiving, Transfer, and Issuing; Finance and Controlling
2 professional references of the Reporting Manager from latest projects
highly desired.
