Position Title: *Oracle DBA* Location: Bedford, MA (locals) Duration: 5 months *Need only Locals* *Job Description:* · Strong skills and proven ability to administer, maintain, develop and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the Oracle database for an enterprise application. · Ability to implement data models and database design, data access and table maintenance code using both transactional SQL and PL/SQL; resolve Oracle database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues in the enterprise application. · Experience with Oracle 11g is a must. · Experience in any of the following is a big plus: Oracle Streams, Oracle RAC, Java/C#/C++, web development, developing BI applications using Cognos, OBIEE, etc. · Should be able to participate in technical designs, code reviews, and test plan/case reviews. · Good communication skills, both written and verbal are mandatory. · Candidate should have outstanding debugging and troubleshooting skills. *General Skills:* · Candidate required to have 8+ years’ experience as a DBA-cum-Developer (PL/SQL, Shell Scripting), experience on Oracle database version 8.x / 9.x / 10.x. or newer, Strong experience in Data Warehousing, ETL processes and concepts, PL/SQL Programming, Unix Shell Scripting, performance tuning both at the Database and OS level. · Must have a good knowledge in Data Modeling / Physical database design and Database Backup and Recovery process (RMAN). · Experience with Solaris, Unix, Linux and Windows system administration, Oracle Installation and Up-gradation, User managed Backup and Recovery, Fixing ORA - Errors, Database · Refreshes and experience in Database migration, database change management and data management required. · Must be able to plan growth and changes (Capacity planning), be aware of remote DBS support SLA's / Metrics, Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges) · Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams, Setup and maintain documentation and standards. *HABEEB* AddOn Technologies, Inc *Phone: 734-956-4737 Ext: 160* *hab...@addonusa.com <hab...@addonusa.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
