Refreshing QA and Dev environments from Live. Operational knowledge of database backup / replication software’s like EMC, Veritas etc. is a plus. * · *Database Performance Tuning. * · *Should be able to manage, train, recruit and motivate high performance team to deliver technical services * · *Experience in Database Dump and Load and Progress upgrades * · *Experience in code deployment, compilation and trouble shooting of issues relating to it. Providing support to the Development Team. * · *Should understand complex UNIX scripts and be able to develop new scripts * · *Installation and configuration experience of Progress and .Net UI. * · *Experience in configuring and administering Progress Web Speed * · *Should be fully conversant in Unix Shell Scripting and should be proficient in writing shell scripts for database administration and monitoring. Knowledge of Progress 4GL queries is a plus. * · *Security administration in OS / Progress, user access definition, user access management, monitoring and maintaining security of the Production environments.
