*Job Title: SAS Developer Analyst* *Location: Downer Grove, IL (Need Locals) * *Duration : 6+ months* *Responsibilities include:* Perform in depth statistical analyses and must understand calculations Research demand planning business process strategies Work with other Demand Planners to understand the requirements for forecasting tools Write business process functional and technical design documents ***Writing SAS code for production forecasting systems Work with IT and others to resolve various process and technical issues Produce high quality forecasts Using standardized processes for generating supply chain recommendations create: Production quantity estimates Contingency production estimates Case pack quantity estimates Perform detailed post-analyses of forecast error and planning assumptions *Required Skills:* **Advanced SAS skills. 3-6 years of use in a business environment (do not want candidates with 10+ years’ experience) **Some experience in providing fact-based guidance to business decision makers **Familiarity with time series forecasting methodologies and statistics/statistical analysis Proven analytical and communication skills in a business environment.
