*Job Title: Scrum Master * *Location: Charlotte, NC* *Duration : 6+ Months* *Experience serving as Scrum Master on multiple projects* Experience helping teams new to Scrum stay true to the methodology and avoid shifting back into waterfall Experience with waterfall-style projects and deliverables / artifacts of the systems development life cycle (SDLC) Willingness to use whatever project management methodology seems appropriate to the team at the time of assignment. Self-motivated personality with big-picture awareness and a focus on making the team successful rather than doing the letter of the job. If the team isn't successful, we're not successful. Willingness to put team before self and to engage in healthy discussion of options but to accept and support decisions once they are made. Clear diction and voice easy to understand on phone calls. Most of our meetings and interactions are via phone. Must be brief and to the point when communicating. Rambling explanations or stories waste time and frustrate busy team members and business partners. Upbeat, positive approach to tasks and client/team member interactions. Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with basic technology terms such as would typically be used in technology projects (e.g., SQL, SAN, LAN, HTML, CSS, Operating System, etc) *Ideal Qualifications (not required, but nice additions):* Experience as an Agile or Scrum coach. We have a coach but would enjoy the opportunity to share and learn from others' experience. Experience with the Flawless Consulting approach to client interactions. Experience using Version One to manage Scrum projects. Experience working with projects focused on SharePoint, PeopleSoft, Workforce Analysis, and/or Documentum.
