*Experienced in design and development of Portals with IBM API, JSR168, JSR268, JSF. * Description: The Senor Developer is likely to spend about 60% of his/her time on application development projects and 40% on application support (i.e. troubleshooting, RCA, environment maintenance, or improvement initiatives). The role has the following responsibilities Act as technical lead on enterprise application engagement that contains multiple threads of evelopment. Work with multiple teams, different tracks, developing POC’s, assisting with hands-on coding. Work with clients to define an enterprise-wide technology approach that encompasses multiple systems and various integration points. Work effective with client management team to identify, estimate, prioritize, and resolve issues Should be able to work with offshore team to deliver the projects and complete the support activities. Excellent troubleshooting skills, especially in a complex application stack. Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized, and will have exceptional writing and communication skills. Demonstrated a record of managing and maintaining large scale deployments of portal and collaborative solutions. Ability to work closely with system and network administrators to manage portal and collaborative application deployments. Willingness to mentor junior resources and other team members on need basis for technologies. Ability to operate effectively, and with a sense of possibility, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment issues resolution. Ability to understand network issues. Required Skills: Experties with B2B, B2C & B2B2C architecture/systems. Experience in working with full project life cycle management for both waterfall and agile. Sound knowledge and experience with J2EE/ Web development n-tier architectures, various web development frameworks (SPRING, JSR, JSF, STRUTS) Real hands on experience with developing Java/J2EE based e-commerce applications, for WebSphere Application Server 7.x/8/8.5, IBM HTTP Server, and IBM Websphere Portal v6.5 and above. Experienced in design and development of portlets with IBM API, JSR 168, JSR 268, JSF. Experience in developing web services (WDSL, SOAP, REST and messaging (JMS/MQ). Experience with various WebSphere Portal technologies and tools like, web content management, Personalization, themes/skins development, WSRP, Event handling, Inter Port let Communication and Document management Real hands on experience with Oracle 10/11g, Novel LDAP, very good experience with SQL and DB2. Install/Upgrade, configure and tune WebSphere/IBM products (WAS, WP, MQ, RAD). Expirence with migration and upgrade applications from older versions of WAS/WP to latest version of WAS/WP. Migration from WAS v7/WP v6.5 to WAS 8.5/ WP v9 is desired. Experience and knowledge with WebSphere portal administration, xmlaccess scripts, Portal scripting, release builder, scripting for WAS configurations (JACL/Python), knowledge on clustered environments. Knowledge of various methods to integrate existing applications into B2B/B2E portal. Knowledge and experience working on Unix (AIX), Linux and Windows environments. Working experience and knowledge on Subversion, Hudson/Jenkins, Sonar, HP Load runner, QTP, ANT, Maven, RAD/Eclipse. Knowledge and experience in web development technologies such as HTML5, CSS, AJAX, JQery, JSP, JSF, Servlet, JavaScript, Grails. Knowledge and experience in developing application using Java v6 and above, Grails, EJB, JPA, JDBC. Desired Skills: Sun certified on JAVA platform preferred or IBM certified Portal Specialist. Exposure to middleware Interfaces and components. eg, WMB, WPG) Experience with performance testing automation eg VUgen, JMeter, HP PC. Project Management. Experience in supporting n-tier infra architectures. Understanding with Firewalls, DMZs, Load Balancing, Fail over, Web Servers, App Servers, Middleware components. Server performance tuning.
