Must have experience with complex data integration, data mapping projects. This is a multi- year program, this first project is focused on data analysis. *Complete Description:* The Data Analyst will use discovery / analysis skills to identify data attributes across multiple applications, document and resolve anomalies and gaps across data sources. They will use interviewing and facilitation techniques to engage stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies and align stakeholders on one definition of the data. Must be experienced with performing Data Profiling, Data Mapping and knowledgeable of data transformation concepts like look-ups and rules. Experience with Data Governance and / or enterprise content management helpful Participates in estimating and planning for project; drives own work, can execute tasks / activities per project expectations. Will work with Business SME, Solution Analyst, Data Modeler and Enterprise Data Governance Advocate to ensure data is captured, transformed, and consumed in manner necessary to provide information to the business as required by the proposed solution. *Job Duties & Responsibilities* Achieves and maintains a solid understanding of the business environment as a whole, including business practices, processes and strategy. Facilitates requirements / business rules / data workshops with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) Profile existing data to determine risks to proposed solution based on quality of and anomalies within existing sources Interfaces with business SMEs & end users to develop business rules models and identify gaps across data definitions. Captures stakeholder data requirements, identify data source(s) to define data attributes. Creates and maintains data dictionaries to ensure all data elements have concise, consistent and unambiguous definitions Uses structured and disciplined approaches to solving technical problems.
