Network Firewall Administration Houston, TX, United States 6 months+ Requisition Details: Common Responsibilities for Network Security Basic knowledge of routing (eigrp/ospg/bgp/mpls) and switching (VLAN / STP / HSRP /Macsec) Solid knowledge of network security principles and practices. Working experience with intrusion detection and prevention systems Installation, configuration, monitoring and response to security system(firewalls/IPS/IDS/Proxy) Understanding of advanced security protocols and standards (IPSEC/SSL/TLS/PKI/WPA2) Knowledge of Wireless security (WIPS/WLC/WPA2/WEP) Experience with network security architectures and design Install , configure and administer the access control solutions based on Cisco NAC/ISE and Juniper UAC Evaluate and develop approach to solutions Proactively assesses potential items of risk and opportunities of vulnerability in the network. Security Monitoring using Algosec, Checkpoint Smartview/Smart Workflow/Smart Reporter , Cisco PRSM/CSM , Arcsight , Juniper Junos Space/NSM Experience with security practices of Intranet and Extranet Support day-to-day administration of various firewalls (Fortigate / Checkpoint / Cisco ASA / Juniper SRX / Palo Alto/Sonicwall) Eligibility Requirements of Job Position 5 to 8 years of experience in information technology or security Strong communications skills, both written and oral Organized, responsive and highly thorough problem solver Minimum Certification of Associate’s degree in Computers, Technology or related field Minimum Technical certification CCNP – Security / CCSE / JNCIS - Security Technical Knowledge: Cisco Network IDS/IPS , Host-based IDS, eTrust Access Control, ESM. DES encryption, Digital Certificates, SSL, VPN, IPSec , TCP/IP, DNS and web security architecture. Understanding and knowledge of Spam Assassin, Nmap, Nikto, Nessus, Paros tools for Audit /Scanning of network infrastructure. FACE TO FACE at one of our client offices is REQUIRED.
