Job Title: QA Test Lead *(etl testing)* Location: Detroit, MI Duration: 6 months
*Max rate: $48/hr * *MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH ETL TESTING.* Overview: This individual will interface directly with our client as the leader of an enterprise Test/QA test team in an aggressive, fast-paced, and challenging work environment. The Business Intelligence QA/Test Lead will be expected to identify appropriate opportunities for QA/Test automation of BI solutions and lead implementation of associated test/QA frameworks and processes. In addition, this candidate will lead efforts for the establishment/development of long-term improvement of testing processes and tools, as well as reviewing and improving requirements traceability to ensure appropriate test coverage. Healthcare Payer experience from one of the following companies- *Aetna, Cigna, Humana, and United Healthcare, Anthem, BCBS, Horizon, Champus/Tricare, Wellpoint, HCSC, TUFTS, Harvard Pilgrim, CDPHP, Oxford HP, Healthfirst NY & NJ, Fallon, Americhoice, NHP. Possible Options- Healthcare consulting vertical experience.- Accenture, Slalom, PWC, KPMG, Cerner, etc.* Requirements: Must have 6-8 years experience *LEADING testing on BI/DW applications* in a *large Enterprise enviorment- including*: Lead all levels of testing within Quality Assurance testing cycle: *Responsible for writing, executing and debugging SQL queries to perform data completeness, correctness, data transformation and data quality testingCapture, analyze QA metrics identified for the program Ensure content and structure of all testing documents / artifacts are documented and maintainedExecute test cases / scripts. Log and track defects to closureReview test conditions, test cases and test scriptsOrganize status meetings and send status reports* Develop and maintain test plans, manual and automated test scripts for user interface, functionality, system and "ad-hoc testing" in approved format. Perform and manage the performance of test cases Review relevant project documentation and attend meetings as needed Direct and monitor team tasks Coordinate with other teams on behalf of the UAT team Create System Test Exit Criteria Checklist (to be filled out by development vendor) Create and fill out UAT Entrance Criteria Checklist and UAT Exit Criteria Checklist Report weekly status, and daily execution status during test execution phases Manage defects through their lifecycle Support UAT Analyst to complete project tasks Perform other related duties as assigned by management Previous experience providing quality assurance test services for projects and systems for a *ETL= BI/Data Warehouse projects including: Ab-Initio, Informatica, DataStage, Cognos, and Business Objects* Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
