*Job Title: Front-End Mobile Developer* *Location: Harrisburg, PA* *Duration : 6+ Months* *Job Description: * This person will be working on Front End and Mobile Development for Mobile Applications for a national retailer. Should have in depth experience with the technologies listed below. *Required Skills: * Knowledge / Experience & Proficiency with standard PC & MAC navigation (OS, standard software, etc...) Understanding of algorithms and code design patterns, e.g. MVC pattern Experience with the following (what to know specific proficiency on which too): Multi-tiered application architectures PHP, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX and CSS application development JavaScript frameworks like Dojo or jQuery, etc. Front-end web optimization - techniques like minifying JavaScript and CSS Development using Struts framework Understand how or have built applications that consume REST/SOAP web services Experience with & Proficiency on all - please note on submissions: Mobile application development, concepts, and technologies; Sencha Touch a plus CSS, AJAX, XML, JSON, AJAX, HTML5 Able to provide thorough test coverage using modern QA methodologies and tools Knowledge of relational databases and SQL Familiar with integrating to, adapting, building on top of open standards and platforms and data Must possess the ability to effectively communicate using strong verbal, written and listening skills Must be able to adapt quickly to change without being afraid to take on new responsibilities in a fast paced team environment while being proactive and action-oriented Ability to come up with creative technical ways to resolve application and system issues Understanding & Experience with agile development methodologies or concepts (SCRUM) Excellent diagnostic, debugging, and troubleshooting skills Ideally familiar with store technology stacks (i.e. Point of sale systems, in-store processors, etc...)
