SQL DBA Location: Bartlesville, OK Duration: 6 months Bill rate: $50-55/hr The SQL Database Administrator may be responsible for: • Providing SQL Server database administration, application tuning, database security and production support • Installing, upgrading and maintaining SQL Server databases • Planning and executing database backup and recovery • Providing database tuning for performance and stability • Using change management processes to prevent production disruptions and outages • This position participates in an on-call rotation with other DBA's to provide 24X7 coverage Basic: • Legally authorized to work in the United States • High School Diploma or equivalent • Three years of direct DBA experience working with SQL Server • Five years of direct IT experience providing server support, database support or application programming • Ability and willingness to perform tasks outside normal business hours and on weekends as well as carry an on call pager for at least one week every 6 to 8 weeks 2 professional references of the Reporting Manager from latest projects highly desired.
