Purpose & Objectives - Standardize and integrate operational data to enable
Statistical Process Control (SPC) and leading indicator management through
data structures, workflow and reporting that aligns with the Enterprise
Quality Improvement Plan (QIP). Integrate 22 key performance indicators
(KPI’s) into multiple levels of dashboard and analytical tools over the
next three years.

Business Problem - Customer satisfaction is at risk and our existing
infrastructure and culture prevent us from performing a systematic
analysis; the current state is not integrated, standardized, or readily
used. This prevents us from converting data into actionable information for
continuous improvement and predictable performance.



*Contractor Scope:*

Work with the eBusiness, Business Analytics team.

Support stabilization of four KPI’s released in December including
troubleshooting errors, re-development, testing, etc.

Manage the Customer Acceptance KPI by translating a functional
specification into a technical specification, development, testing,
customer engagement, release planning for April go-live

Lead and manage other break-fix, enhancement or sustain request tickets.



*Required:*

Tools: 4+ years of experience in SAP Business Objects 4.1. (4.0) using
Dashboards (Xcelsius), Analysis for OLAP and Office and a solid foundation
of experience in SAP Business Warehouse (BW) using BEx Query Designer.



*Processes: *

Strong experience in understanding business processes, translating business
problems into technical requirements, translating functional specifications
into technical specifications and developing technical specifications,
technical development, troubleshooting applications for issues, developing
a unit test strategy/plan, performing unit testing, supporting functional
testers, supporting user acceptance testers, collaborating with technical
leads/customers, providing accurate/summarized status to project managers,
testing leads and technical leadership and transitioning work to/from full
time employee.



*Skills:*

*Not Required, but nice to have:*

SAP ECC and SAP BW experience.

Experience in SAP BW using BEx Web Analyzer, Data Modeling and Extraction.

Experience in SAP Business Object Reporting on SAP and non-SAP.

Knowledge on ETL processes, data modeling, and RDBMS.

Exposure in designing ETL complex Mappings, Logics and Workflows.

Experience working with both star schema and traditional normalized
databases.

Exposure in designing complex reports, dashboards, and security models for
user groups.
