Position: *Lead Data Modeler* Location : Detroit, MI Duration : Long term The Data Modeler works with business owners and IT team members to provide deep analysis and data-driven solutions for crucial business opportunities. This individual draws upon knowledge and experience in applied statistics, data mining, modeling and forecasting to ensure results are accurate and clear. The Data Modeler must be detail oriented and highly aware of the impact of their analysis across the company. This team member takes initiative, and is focused on finding innovative solutions for a myriad of business challenges.
*Responsibilities* • Collect and clean data for deep statistical analysis and data modeling • Perform statistical summaries and tests for relevant business questions • Develop predictive statistical, behavioral models • Perform statistical testing to enhance the predictability of deployed models • Deploy applicable models into production systems for business use • Summarize conclusions and solutions • Develop strong relationships with subject matter experts • Understand data using SQL • Apply statistical packages (R, SPSS, SAS) for data analysis *Requirements* • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in statistics, operation research or other applied science fields • Strong communication skills • Two years of experience with statistical tools, such as SAS and R • One year of experience with data modeling and forecasting methodologies, including linear regression, logistics regression, decision tree, support vector machine and others • Two years of workplace experience • Proven track record as a lead resource • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Aptitude for new concepts, especially as they relate to technology and analytics • Curious, creative, flexible and adaptable *reply to* *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *HABEEB* Addon Technologies, Inc 734-956-4737 Ext: 160 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
