Kindly confirm your interest by replying with your updated resume and convenient time / number to discuss further. *Role: *Sr. DataStage Developer *Location:* Cypress , CA *Duration:* 6+ Months Rate: $50/hr on c2c *Responsibilities for this position:* • Predict emerging customer needs and develop innovative solutions to meet them • Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business • Participate in the development of business strategy • Develop and manage business plans to achieve objectives • Lead large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives • Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences • Influence senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches • Direct cross-functional and/or cross-segment teams • Deploy and maintain Applications/Systems • Assist with developing project milestones and ETL estimates • Provide reviews of technical specification documents • Identify gaps/areas of improvement and help to resolve • Implement monitoring and quality processes to ensure data accuracy and streamlined communications with other areas such as analysis, testing, and project management What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities? What skills/attributes are a must have? • Minimum 4 years ETL development experience • Minimum 3 years of experience with PL/SQL • Minimum 2 years Tivoli (TWS) or equivalent job scheduling tool experience • Minimum 2 years of UNIX or Linux development environment utilizing shell scripts or PERL • Minimum 4 years of SQL against relational databases (ORACLE, DB2, Teradata) • Minimum of 4 years of experience creating detailed technical design specifications • Experience working with a virtual team environment across multiple locations, including off-shore Preferred Qualifications: • DataStage (Parallel Extender) ETL tool (version 7.5.2 or greater, 8.5 or more preferred) • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks • Professional communication skills • Experience or Knowledge of XML • Healthcare Industry knowledge • Experience in complex, cross-departmental projects involving multiple platforms • Make recommendations for process improvements or performance enhancements *Thanks* *Kumar* [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
