Job Description:

*Responsibilities for this position:*

*PROJECT MANAGER – HEALTH PLAN ENROLLMENT*



GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

*Education: *Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or
information systems preferred.  Other degrees will be accepted with
requisite experience. *PMP certification* preferred.



*EXPERIENCE*

   - *5+ years* of complex program/project management experience working in
   matrixed organizations. *10+ years of overall experience*.


   - *Healthcare* experience in *insurance* industry or at a major *Health
   Plan, ideally a Government-sponsored plan*
   - Experience with* Affordable Care Act *or* Health Plan Operations *concepts
   a real plus (enrollment, provider payment, customer care, etc.)
   - Fully proficient in MS suite, SharePoint
   - Strong facilitation, meeting and presentation skills
   - Good communication skills – can work with both IT and Business c-level
   executives
   - Strong written communication skills as well as verbal skills.
   - Strong problem solving skills.
   - Strong familiarity with SDLC, development gates/quality steps/SOX
   project implications
   - Experience with Primavera Implementation is beneficial



*ACCOUNTABILITIES*

   1. Manages all aspects of assigned projects throughout the development
   project lifecycle including project scope, schedule, resources, quality,
   costs and change.
   2. Develop and maintain detailed project plan to include milestones,
   tasks, and target/actual dates of completion.
   3. Revises project plans as appropriate as a result of approved changed
   requests.
   4. Prepares and submits project status reports to management.
   5. Manages team budget.
   6. Conducts regularly scheduled project status update meetings.
   7. Manages project risks and issues.
   8. Defines, or guides the definition of solutions that meet business
   needs within constraints of time, resources and cost.
   9. Identifies and assesses alternative solutions where necessary and
   communicates these to the appropriate business stakeholders for decision
   making.
   10. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project to include
   internal subject matter experts, external corporate departments, and Health
   Plans.
   11. Establishes effective Quality Assurance processes for the project
   and ensures that they are followed in order that a quality solution is
   delivered.
