Monitor application availability and performance experience with IT operations supporting *Unix/Linux servers* Work with peers to troubleshoot application, database and network related issues Coordinate/communicate with various teams on project status/tasks and escalation Participate in 24x7 escalation support as part of the IT team Hands-on daily maintenance of all servers performing proactive tasks to ensure a "multiple nines" level of uptime Implement processes, tools and procedures for data centers infrastructure management Administer network switches, network storage and associated tape backup system (LTO, LTFS), Virtual Server Infrastructure, Databases, User accounts, Email technologies, Firewall, Internet and Digital Security, User support and troubleshooting Administer Amazon cloud infrastructure Maintain corporate websites/applications: Analyze and tune systems for performance, throughput, resource utilization, high availability, and scalability. Evaluate system components, software, networking infrastructure and hardware peripherals for reliability, performance, scalability and security. Evaluate business requirements and make recommendations on systems design and hardware purchases to fulfill business needs.
