Hope you’re doing great, We have an excellent requirement for you could you please go through the job description and let me know your comfort levels on the below requirement. *Title* *: Senior Java Developer <http://www2.jobdiva.com/employers/open_rfq.jsp?rfqid=6362390> Location: Vacaville,, CA, United States* *Duration: 6 Months+* *Scope* The scope of duties for the Senior Developers includes, but is not limited to, the following: Consultant Resource will perform the professional software engineering/developer functions in the following environment: JAVA programming, XML, eBilling, EDI, Forms V9i, PL/SQL, Designer, SQL, JDeveloper, and Oracle and support the following applications: - Medicare Quarterly Reporting (MQR), MCC. Interfaces; end and backend. - eBilling Regulatory changes - Imaging integration - Data Migration/conversion - Oracle Discoverer reports for Management - Payment Processing using Oracle AP - Interfaces with COMDB, WISP, ECF, DB2 and vendors - Documentation of existing systems *Tasks* The tasks for the Senior Developers include, but are not limited to, the following: - Backend JAVA Programming - XML, EDI, eBilling - Front End development on Forms Version 9i - PL/SQL – packages, procedure, functions, autonomous procedures, handling arrays - Generate modules out of Designer - Attach libraries, template forms in Designer - Use of Object Library in Designer - Post generation using Forms - Access RON in Designer - Look for attributes, values of domains and existing indexes attached to the entities - Work closely with other Support Unit team members; Consultant Resource will provide more in-depth analysis than the non-programming staff members. - Work with the Business and IT teams to complete the project analysis, scoping, and scheduling - Attend and contribute to project meetings - Provide assistance in Performance Tuning of any SQL queries. SQL tuning, Tkprof - Code programs as per the technical specifications and unit testing, accurately and on schedule - Ensure that all project documentation is produced in the standard format, that it follows internal documentation processes and is reviewed and approved prior to delivery to State Fund. *Technical Knowledge and Skills* Consultant resources shall possess most of the following technical knowledge and experience: - Experience in backend JAVA programming - Experience in XML, EDI, and eBilling - Strong knowledge of Forms Version 9i preferably (knowledge of 3i under web environment is acceptable - Strong knowledge of PL/SQL- Back end programming, the following are the prerequisite for PL/SQL knowledge: - Packages, Procedure, Functions - Autonomous Procedures, Handling Arrays - Strong knowledge of SQL Tuning- Contractor to complete SQL tuning proactively - How to trace the SQL processing - How to convert the tracing into readable format (tkprof) - How to interpret the trace report - Understand the causes and fix problems - How to generate modules out of Designer - How to attach libraries - How to attach template form in Designer - Use of Object Library in Designer - How to do post generation using Forms - How to access RON in Designer - How to look for attributes, values of domain, and existing indexes - Knowledge of JDeveloper, Oracle Client, and Oracle 10G desired *Demonstrable Skills* The Consultant resource(s) shall possess most of the following skills: · Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze information and identify and formulate solutions to problems. - Provide more in-depth analysis with a high-level view of goals and end deliverables. - Complete work within a reasonable time frame under the supervision of a manager or team lead. - Plan and manage all aspects of the support function. - Extensive knowledge of and proven experience with data processing systems, and methods of developing, testing and moving solutions to implementation. - Strong knowledge in project management practices and ability to document processes and procedures as needed. - Work collaboratively with other support team members and independently on assigned tasks and deliverables with minimum supervision - Communicate effectively with users at all levels, from data entry technicians up to senior management, verbally and in writing. - Self-motivated, working closely and actively communicating with team members to accomplish time critical tasks and deliverables - Ask questions and share information gained with other support team members, recording and documenting this knowledge - Elicit and gather user requirements and/or problem description information, and record this information accurately - Listen carefully and act upon user requirements - Convey and explain complex problems and solutions in an understandable language to both technical and non-technical persons - Present technical solutions to management and decision makers - Follow the lead of others on assigned projects as well as take the lead when deemed appropriate - Think creatively and critically, analyzing complex problems, weighing multiple solutions, and carefully selecting solutions appropriate to the business needs, project scope, and available resources - Take responsibility for the integrity of the solution *Core Competencies* The Consultant resource(s) shall posses the following prerequisite core competencies: - Act with integrity; - Use sound judgment; - Commit to quality; - Demonstrate adaptability; - Innovate; - Think strategically; - Communicate effectively and influence others; and - Work well both independently and as part of a team. *Thanks*!! *Rakesh* (512) 614 8579 rak...@pronektinc.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
