Please revert with quality profiles and we request you to provide the top qualified profiles for this requirement. *Positions:* 2 Senior positions *Experience:* 7+ Years on SQL DBA (over all 9-10 yrs ) *Location:* Long Beach-California, US We are looking for Talent working as Production SQL DBA with Excellent communication skills. *Detailed JD :* PFB the MUST-TO-HAVE skills with Hands-on expertise for this requirement. 1. Database performance Monitoring /Tuning 2. SQL Cluster Configuration 3. Perform database backups/Recovery and other DBMS maintenance jobs 4. Database Administration activities including Install/Upgrade, Refresh, Sync 5. Perform transaction log backup, and shrink database log files to free log space and cluster disk space 6. DB Security management, DB access requests. 7. Record database / file system growth trends to assist with capacity planning 8. Perform DB Problem Management /RCA’s 9. Plan & Execute Database Disaster Recovery 10. SQL DB Replication *SQL Daily Operation JD * Will work with product support and development teams (after hours support). • Perform database backups and other DBMS maintenance jobs. • Maintain a recorded log of scheduled jobs. • Ability to execute database scripts (ddl /dml) as part of planned deployments (CMD deployments). • Perform database restores in support of development testing efforts (Database refreshes). • Identify performance issues and resolve in timely manner. • Recover and restart failed jobs, resolve until successfully completed. • Provide weekend coverage on a rotation in support of project implementations. • Record database / file system growth trends to assist with capacity planning. • DB Security management, DB access requests. *REQUIREMENTS:* • 7 + years SQL Server database support experience. • Proven skills working with mission critical databases, and be able to provide overall support for the development and maintenance of databases. • Experience with and understanding of data architecture/mapping/warehousing. • EDI, ETL and Batch Processing experience are big pluses. • SQL Server 2008 , SQL Scripting Knowledge + Automation through Scripting • Experience with SQL Server components, SSIS, SSRS, etc. • Strong communication skills. • Full software lifecycle experience -- Thanks & Regards, Rash Hamsol Technologies LLC Email: [email protected] <[email protected]> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
