*Informatica Developer* Location : Detroit, MI
Duration : long term *RESPONSIBILITIES:* • The Informatica ETL Developer should be able to perform the following with minimal supervision: o Understand Business Requirements and Conceptual Solution o Convert Business Requirements into Technical Requirements and Design o Create High Level Design) o Create Detailed Technical Design o Create Informatica Mappings, Workflows and Sessions o Create Shell Scripts for automation o Understand the source systems and conduct the data profiling o Co-ordinate Data Modeling of Sources and Targets o Create Source to Target Mapping Specifications o Conduct Unit Testing and create Unit Testing Results Documents o Provide Support for QA/UA Testing o Migrate the code to Production o Provide warranty support o Assist and resolve production issues • Follow the standards and processes defined • Contribute to process and performance improvements • Ensure compliance of meta data standards for the data warehouse *REQUIRED EXPERTISE IN TOOLS & TECHNOLOGIES:* • Informatica 9.x and above (MUST) • Oracle 10g and above (MUST) • Unix Shell Scripting - AIX or Linux (MUST) • Experience in any of Scheduling Tools - Tivoli, Autosys, Ctrl-M *OTHER SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:* • More than 5 years experience as ETL Developer using Informatica and Oracle 10g/11g to implement data warehousing projects • Excellent understanding of data warehousing concepts. • Candidate should be able to clearly communicate fundamental concepts during the interview and demonstrate previous experience in all aspects. • MUST HAVE strong SQL skills in Oracle 10g/11g • Experience in Business Intelligence reporting tools like Cognos and Business Objects • Experience in Oracle database programming using Partitioning, Materialized View and OLAP • Experience in tuning Oracle queries/processes and performance management tools • Experience in scheduling tools like Tivoli, Autosys • Strong data modeling skills (normalized and multidimensional) • Strong business and communication skills • Knowledge of Health Care Insurance Payer Data Warehousing Preferred *reply to* *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *HABEEB* Addon Technologies, Inc 734-956-4737 Ext: 160 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OracleD2K" group.
