Job Title: SAS/DataFlux Developer

Location: New York, NY

Duration: 6-12+ Months



Detailed Expectations & Qualifications of Role

The candidate selected by TDC will be responsible for performing entity
resolution and reporting tasks required by NYCTDC for the PKA Outreach
effort.  The core of the work will be to resolve entities across data sets
based on information common to many or all sources and to address any
reporting needs.

The candidate will review the existing matching workflow process along with
the final set of data sources and design/develop an improved matching
workflow process.  The candidate will also develop the Enrollment
Scorecard, develop any additional identified standard reports, and address
any ongoing ad hoc data requests.  The candidate will provide documentation
for all work.  The candidate will be directed by TDC, and work with
resources across Department of Information Technology and
Telecommunications (DoITT), DOE, Mayor’s office of Data Analytics (MODA),
and the Mayor’s Office.



Required Skills:

Strong experience required with SAS/DataFlux suite V2.4 and V2.5.

4+ years of DataFlux experience.

DataFlux Data Management Studio 2.4 and 2 .5  and DataFlux Management Server

Experience with Data Flux for Data Cleansing

Experience with creating Jobs in DataFlux tool to analyze and find Data
Discrepancies based on the user requirements

Experience with DataFlux tool to Formalize the data quality function within
the organization by instituting a data dictionary for several data marts

Subject Matter Expert on Data Flux technical requirements and process

Experience in providing data quality solution using SAS Data Flux

Experience with installation and Configuration of the Data Flux on Windows
and Linux

SAS  DataFlux Stored Procedures

Unix shell scripting.



DESIRED:

Knowledge of SAS BI dashboards creation.

Knowledge of SAS Data Integration Studio.

Bachelors or Masters degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent
experience.

Knowledge of Java/J2EE.

Experienced with formal SDLCs and business analysis methodologies; Working
knowledge of business analysis documentation standards.
